पोप्लूयन्तां प्लवन्तां प्लवशरदि जनाः रोगदुःखाम्बुराशेः

मा भूत् पीडा भवत्सु ग्रहपरिवृढतो भौमतो भौवनेस्मिन्।

लक्ष्ये देवांघ्रिपद्मे निहितदृढधियो भक्तिमन्तो महान्तः

प्रार्थं प्रार्थं जनौघाः घनविभवसुखं शान्तिमोजो लभन्ताम्।। - वंशीकृष्ण घनपाठी

The world has seen enough strife and grief over the past year. Let people get over this in this new year PLAVA (which means "to float and to cross").

Year starts with Tuesday. Hence, Kuja - the ferocious war lord is considered as the King of the constellation. Therefore, Pray that- we are not affected that by the strife-mongering mobs.

Devout Folks - Focus on the lotus foot of the God, with a Deep sense of devotion.

Your repeated prayers would be answered with Plenty of Wealth, Happiness, Peace and Energy.

Bhāvārtha (English)	Auspicious blessings for the Plava year! In the autumn of Plava, may people float and cross over the ocean of disease and sorrow. In this world, may there be no suffering from the chief of planets or from Mars. May the masses of people, with firm minds fixed on the lotus feet of the gods, and who are great devotees, obtain dense happiness, peace, and vitality through constant prayer.
तात्पर्यम् — Commentary	This verse is a prayer for well-being during the Plava year. It invokes blessings to overcome suffering and attain peace and happiness. English Translation

1. In this year of Plava, may all people float and swim across the ocean of disease and sorrow. May there be no suffering for you from the changes wrought by the planets, nor from the Earth itself.

2. May throngs of people, their minds firmly fixed on the lotus feet of the Devas, great with devotion, obtain abundant wealth, happiness, peace, and strength through constant prayer.

Telugu Translation — తెలుగు అనువాదం

1. ప్లవ సంవత్సరమున రోగదుఃఖాంబూరాశి నుండి ప్రజలందరు తేలి, ఈదుకొని దాటుదురు గాక! గ్రహముల మార్పుల వలన, భూమి వలన మీకు ఎటువంటి బాధలు కలుగకుండు గాక!

2. దేవదేవుల పాదపద్మములందు మనస్సును స్థిరముగా నిలిపిన భక్తులు, నిరంతర ప్రార్థనల ద్వారా గొప్ప సంపదలను, సుఖములను, శాంతిని, తేజస్సును పొందుదురు గాక!
